WILK Sustainability Focus

At WILK we are committed to the green future. Wilk Group is a socially and environmentally responsible enterprise. We design our packaging solutions to minimize environmental impact. We practice efficient energy management by means of heat recovery from our machinery and our production line consists of modern and eco-friendly machines to minimize our CO2 emissions and our impact on the environment.

Being a market leader comes with great responsibility, for this reason WILK is proud to announce the first working and validated recyclable closure solution. Our spouts and caps comply with recycling requirements and have been validated with all the major machinery technologies on the market today. We work closely with film suppliers to optimize the solution allowing our spouts to be welded at very low temperatures in order not to damage the pouch in the process (welding even as low as 110 °C).

Low Sealing Temperature Monomaterial Spouts (code name “LTS”) is the ideal solution for customers who are forward thinking and care about the environment. Our spouts are available in both PP and PE versions, working on all major machinery technologies on the market today (FFS, FS, hybrid).

Introducing the world of GREEN

Wilk Group is proud to announce we are beginning to offer our customers the option of creating closure solutions from GREEN PE. 

We are currently undergoing exhaustive testing of resin made out of bio components and by 2018 this should be an option to our customers.

GREEN PE is a resin derived from natural sources such as sugar cane. It is 95% bio based, providing excellent PR and marketing value to our customers. It is an environmentally friendly option, encouraging our customers to pursue their CSR targets and care for the environment.
